GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!

Jenna and Ross tried their hand at racing this weekend. Grandpa Wilder has built a quarter midget and brought it down for the kids to run in. Grandpa Spies took them to a fund raiser for a quarter midget racing club. Needless to say, we think we would love racing, at least for a while or until the funds ran out!

Needless to say, we do think racing would be fun...at least for a while and until we ran out of funding!

IT'S APPLE TIME!

While I was at home writing a paper, Mike took Ben, Jake, Jenna and Ross to Mill's Apple Farm. They brought home some delicious apples and Mike baked an apple crisp pie thingy. It smelled heavenly and looked marvelous!

Jenna is now 10 years old and in the 5th grade. She was recently cleaning out her closet a decided to see if some of her fancy dresses still fit. Well, as you can see, her first communion dress from 2nd grade still fits and her flower girl dress from Laura's wedding still fits, too. She has grown UP, but not around!

Okay, school is in session, the kids are very involved in soccer, dance, flag football, religion class and vision therapy. Not only that, but I'm taking a class toward my master's degree and Mike has left our cozy home office to work in St. Louis! Our life is NUTS! I'm sure many of you can relate. So, here are a variety of pictures from late August until this weekend. No! We are NOT getting a go-kart, but Ross would love one!

IT'S ABOUT TIME!

Jenna and Ross both have a couple of loose teeth each. On Saturday they both decided to pull one out. Jenna lost a molar (a little diffucult to take a picture of) and Ross lost his top tooth. The other one is just a hangin' around!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY, AUSTIN!

We went to Bloomington to celebrate Austin's 1st birthday. It was quite the bash! How many 1 year olds do you know get to have a fireworks display and tractor rides!

Ross' team played in the August Sizzler and won 1st place! Way to go!

Whew! It's been a VERY busy week+! We have had lots of company and enjoyed every minute! Kim Bauer and Lauren and Taylor came last week. Sorry, we didn't take any pictures! :( Then we had a graduation celebration for one of my teacher-friends. My college roomie and her family came down and then...My cousin, Sarah, and her two-month old, Bennett, Laura and Austin, and then Brandi and Justin all came for a visit! We have had a blast entertaining and being entertained by all of the babies, family and friends. These are pictures of the nephews, cousins, Jenna's summer get-together bash, and my birthday! Yep, I am officially 27!

COLLEGE ROOMIES

My college roommate and her family came for a visit. Joni and Shane have three children: Brady, Grace, and Ella. The kids played so nicely together and it was great hanging out with Joni and Shane! We must get together more often!

We went back to the lake with the Jeff, Susie and the boys. It was an awesome time! The weather was perfect!
